Grosjean beams with point on Haas home debut
Romain Grosjean says he's delighted to deliver a top ten finish on his team's home debut at the United States Grand Prix as Haas records his first points finish in nine races. On his 100th F1 Grand Prix start, the French driver had been running a solid 12th position and after keeping clear of a late race charge from Renault's Kevin Magnussen the Haas driver profited from Max Verstappen and Kimi Raikkonen retiring ahead of him to clinch a promoted 10th place and with it a first F1 championship point since the Austrian Grand Prix in June. “It didn't go too badly today,” Grosjean said. “It was a bit of a messy first lap, but I managed to get through everything.
