Massa firmly holds Alonso responsible for late clash

United States Grand Prix – Despite no action being taken from the stewards, Felipe Massa says he holds Fernando Alonso responsible for their tangle in the latter stages of the race. The pair, as well as Carlos Sainz Jr, were locked in a battle for fifth place during the final stint, with Alonso on fresher tyres looking to get past his former team mate for sixth. The Spaniard went up the inside of Massa at Turn 16 with the two making contact at the apex, resulting in both drivers running off the circuit. When they rejoined, Alonso was ahead. The contact was wheel-to-wheel which resulted in Massa getting a slow puncture, and having to pit again with only a handful of laps remaining....
