Magnussen frustrated by post-race penalty that cost him 11th

Renault’s Kevin Magnussen has voiced his frustration over a post-race five-second time penalty that cost him 11th place in Sunday’s United States Grand Prix. Stewards decreed that Magnussen gained an advantage when he used the run-off area to pass Toro Rosso’s Daniil Kvyat at Turn 12, but Magnussen was adamant that he was merely avoiding a collision with the Russian.
