Mercedes' Toto Wolff: “It was good to have a drama-free afternoon”
Head of Mercedes-Benz Motorsport, Toto Wolff, applauded the efforts of Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg this weekend, after a solid performance from both of his drivers, brought home a one-two for the Mercedes AMG Petronas Formula One Team. Wolff praised Hamilton for practically owning the Circuit of the Americas (COTA) track on Sunday, a venue where the Brit has taken victory at all but one of the five grand prix held there to date. “This race in Austin in becoming real Lewis Hamilton country: three wins in a row, and four in total, after a perfect and really controlled drive today.” After the stress of recent weeks, where events have not gone to plan for the German squad, Wolff was...
