Hulkenberg to leave Force India as Renault rumours ring
Nico Hulkenberg will leave Force India at the end of the season with speculation suggesting that the German driver is set to join Renault next year. Now 29, Hulkenberg has been with the Silverstone-based outfit for five seasons, including one as a test driver, but the team has no objections for him to “pursue other opportunities within Formula One.” “While it’s true we will miss Nico, we respect his decision to explore fresh opportunities and it would be wrong to stand in his way,” said team principal Vijay Mallya.
