Teams and drivers report from day one of the 2016 Japanese Grand Prix weekend at Suzuka, Round 17 of the 2016 Formula 1 World Championship. Sauber Marcus Ericsson – FP1: 1:36.294, P18; FP2: 1:36.318, P22 “It has been a decent day. In the morning we tried different configurations on the aerodynamic side, which we have to evaluate more in-depth. Later on in FP2, I was a bit unlucky with the yellow flags, so it was difficult to get a feeling for the car on low fuel.
