Lorenzo to drive Mercedes W05 at Silverstone

MotoGP rider Jorge Lorenzo  is being given the chance to drive Lewis Hamilton’s 2014 championship winning Mercedes this week at Silverstone Circuit, home of the British Grand Prix. The arrangements have been made by Monster Energy, the drinks brand that sponsors both Mercedes and Lorenzo’s MotoGP team, Yamaha. The Spaniard is said to have been trying to organise the drive since June, but has had considerable trouble in finding a suitable date for the event.
