21 races remain for provisional 2017 F1 calendar
The new provisional calendar for the 2017 Formula One season was agreed on by the World Motor Sport Council today at a meeting in Paris, still featuring 21 races. The season opener in Australia is set to start on March 26, a week later than it did in 2016. Bahrain and China have once again swapped to the Shanghai International Circuit now hosts the second round of the championship on April 9. It will be the first of seven back-to-back races during the season, with Canada/Azerbaijan, Austria/Britain, Hungary/Germany, Belgium/Italy, Singapore/Japan and Mexico/Brazil also being back-to-back.
