FIA announces provisional 2017 Formula 1 calendar

The World Motor Sport Council has announced the provisional calendar for the 2017 Formula 1 season. It’s a largely unchanged schedule compared to the current campaign, with minor switches in the 21-round calendar. The Australian Grand Prix will be a standalone race on the 26 March, with China and Bahrain swapping places to be back-to-back rounds. The European Grand Prix at Baku on the 18 June will once again clash with the famous 24 Hours of Le Mans. The four-week summer break will take place after the German GP and before the Belgian GP. Malaysia will become the first fly-away race of the second part of the 2017 season, swapping places with Singapore. 2017 provisional calendar:...
