FIA reveals provisional 2017 F1 calendar
– The FIA's World Motor Sport Council has released a largely unchanged provisional 2017 Formula 1 calendar, which will once again feature 21 Grands Prix across an eight-month period.Australia will act as the season opening event on March 26, which is a week later than the corresponding 2016 event, while Abu Dhabi stays as the finale at the end of November.The traditional curtain-raiser in Australia reverts to being a standalone event, with China/Bahrain as a back-to-back two weeks later, in a small tweak compared to this year's schedule.Russia remains as the fourth round of the campaign, before the two traditional European events in Spain and Monaco in May.The European Grand Prix...
