Magnussen: Points will encourage Renault
– Kevin Magnussen expects his points finish at the Singapore Grand Prix to provide a "boost" to Renault, which has endured a challenging return to works F1 team status in 2016.Renault suffered its ninth double Q1 elimination of the season at Marina Bay, with Magnussen 17th and Jolyon Palmer 19th, split by a Sauber, and ahead of only the Manors on merit.Magnussen made progress in Sunday evening's race, however, to cross the line in 10th position and earn one point, adding to the six he scored for finishing seventh in Russia."I'm very happy for the whole team as this must be a boost," he said."It's been a very demanding season as we all want to score points at...
