Bernie sells to ‘media tycoon' in $6.4bn deal

Sky news has confirmed reports that American media tycoon John Malone is finalising a take over of Formula 1 in a record $6.4bn deal…     Reports have said the initial deal was made to sell CVC Capital Partners' majority shares to Mr Malone which he will then bring under his umbrella group, Limited Media Group.   This means that for the first time, Formula 1 will see a public listing under the tracking name ‘Limited Media Group'. The deal is set to net Bernie an impressive £400m.
