Pirelli and Ferrari conclude Barcelona tyre test

The two-day test at the Circuit de Catalunya with Pirelli and Scuderia Ferrari has come to an end, with Sebastian Vettel taking his turn behind the wheel. Vettel took over from team-mate Kimi Raikkonen for the final day of the test on Wednesday, and completed a mammoth 156 laps of the Barcelona circuit to add to the 111 that the Finn ran on Tuesday. The aim of the test in Spain was to continue the development of the 2017 Pirelli tyres, which will be 25% wider than the current specification, with the aim to bring higher speeds and more entertainment to Formula 1.
