Ferrari keen to evaluate GP2 driver Antonio Giovinazzi
GP2 driver Antonio Giovinazzi was recently given the opportunity to experience the Scuderia Ferrari F1 simulator, after the Italian impressed the Maranello based squad with his performances in the lower formula this season. The 22-year-old, who has put himself in strong contention to win the GP2 title this year, and sits just ten points behind Red Bull Racing junior Pierre Gasly in the current standings, now also finds himself on Ferrari’s radar. So far in 2016, Giovinazzi has won four races and finished on the podium on three further occasions, and if his recent performances are anything to go by, there is most certainly more to come from the Prema Powerteam driver.
