Ferrari "failed" on 2016 F1 targets - Marchionne
Ferrari president Sergio Marchionne has admitted that the Italian team has 'failed' with its ambitions this year, as he set sights on a recovery in 2017. Marchionne declared before the start of the season that he wanted the team to win from the very first race ahead of a full assault on the world championship. But despite leading the early stages of the Australian Grand Prix, Ferrari fell short there and has failed to win in the meantime. With Mercedes on course for another world championship double, Marchionne conceded that he had given up on hope of Ferrari achieving all he wanted it to do this season.
