Ocon 'learned a lot' during Formula 1 debut
– Esteban Ocon says he "learned a lot" during his maiden Formula 1 race at the Belgian Grand Prix, in which he classified in 16th position.Mercedes-backed Ocon linked up with Manor to replace Rio Haryanto in the MRT05 and finished 1.1 seconds in front of Sauber's Felipe Nasr at Spa-Francorchamps.Ocon expressed his satisfaction over reaching the finish and explained that he gathered valuable knowledge about tyre management.
