Daniil Kvyat: “We can say we did our absolute best today”

Daniil Kvyat threatened early to score points against the odds at the Belgian Grand Prix but the speed deficit of the 2015 Ferrari engine left him down in fourteenth on Sunday. The Scuderia Toro Rosso had risen as high as eighth just before the red flag for Kevin Magnussen’s crash, but was unable to keep those with better power units behind him for long, and ultimately was unable to grab a point or two despite feeling he did the best job he possibly could in the circumstances at Spa-Francorchamps. “We pushed quite hard today and after the red flag there was some hope – at one point it even looked like we could dream of scoring some points…” said Kvyat. “I think we did a great...
