Ocon: "No big rivalry" with fellow Mercedes junior Wehrlein
Esteban Ocon says driving alongside fellow Mercedes junior Pascal Wehrlein in his debut grand prix at Spa will not add extra pressure. Ocon, who races with Mercedes in the DTM, is part of the German manufacturer's junior programme, like Wehrlein. The Frenchman will make his grand prix debut with the Manor team this weekend in Belgium, replacing Rio Haryanto at the British outfit. Ocon is believed to be one of the candidates for a seat at Renault next year, but he does not think racing alongside the highly-rated Wehrlein means added pressure to perform.
