Wolff: Manor the ‘right environment' for Ocon
Toto Wolff believes that the Manor team will be an ideal location to further the development of Mercedes junior driver Esteban Ocon. Earlier today, 19-year-old Esteban Ocon was confirmed as a Manor driver for the remainder of the season, replacing Rio Haryanto. The former Formula Three and reigning GP3 champion partners fellow Mercedes junior driver Pascal Wehrlein from the Belgian Grand Prix onwards. 'We are very pleased that this opportunity has opened up for Esteban, that Manor has again had the confidence to give a chance to a promising young talent and that the good collaboration between Mercedes-Benz and Renault has allowed this to come together,' said Wolff.
