Ocon to make Formula 1 debut with Manor
– Manor has confirmed that Mercedes youngster Esteban Ocon will race for the team across the remainder of the season, alongside regular driver Pascal Wehrlein, after terminating Rio Haryanto's contract.Manor fielded ]Haryanto across the first half of the campaign but announced on Wednesday that the Indonesian's deal had been terminated after he was unable to fulfil contractual obligations.Manor has thus turned to 19-year-old Ocon, who claimed successive titles in Formula 3 and GP3 across the past two years, securing Mercedes backing in the process.Ocon has carried out extensive running for both Mercedes and Renault this season, having been loaned out to the French manufacturer to...
