‘Bottas has offers from Williams and Renault'

Renault have reportedly put an offer on the table in the hope of luring Valtteri Bottas away from Williams for the 2017 season. The 26-year-old is out of contract with Williams at the end of this season. His manager Didier Coton recently stated that Bottas 'wants to commit' to Williams as there is 'an unfinished story between those two.' But with a firm offer from Renault now on the table, Bottas may spend his summer breaking deciding his future. Speaking to Danish newspaper BT, well known Finnish commentator Oskari Saari revealed that both Williams and Renault had made offers to Bottas. 'It is impossible to get a comment from those involved, especially the drivers at this time of year....
