Red Bull Racing Sample 2017 Tyres at Mugello
Both Red Bull Racing have completed extensive mileage on the 2017-specification Pirelli tyres at the Mugello circuit. Following on from the two-day program completed by Ferrari earlier this week – where Sebastian Vettel and Esteban Gutierrez tested a modified Ferrari SF-15H – Red Bull Racing have also sampled the wider 2017 Pirelli tyres. Red Bull Racing's test and reserve driver and reigning Formula E champion Sebastien Buemi was at the wheel of a modified RB11 at the Mugello circuit in Italy and sampled a variety of compounds. For 2017, Pirelli will be supplying wider tyres in a bid to lower lap times by improving the mechanical grip. The front tyres will be increased from...
