Rosberg takes German GP pole, troubles at Ferrari continued Home hero Nico Rosberg took for pole position at the German Grand Prix, with his Mercedes team-mate Lewis Hamilton alongside him on the front row. Ferrari, with departures in the technical department and a fall down in form, they continued to struggle to keep up with the Red Bulls as Daniel Ricciardo and Max Verstappen emerged third and fourth. Kimi Raikkonen and Sebastian Vettel qualified in fifth and sixth, respectively.
