Vettel, Gutiérrez lined up for Pirelli wet test
– Sebastian Vettel and Esteban Gutiérrez have been tasked with trialling Pirelli's nascent 2017-specification wet tyres at Fiorano next week.Formula 1 tyre supplier Pirelli will begin an intense testing programme on Monday, with 22 days of running set to take place across the remainder of the year.Pirelli will remain as the sport's sole supplier until the end of 2019 and has received permission to ramp up its testing schedule by the FIA, under a revised agreement.Mercedes, Ferrari and Red Bull will supply modified 2015 cars, in order to simulate 2017 downforce levels, which will be fitted with Pirelli's prototype tyres.From next season, Pirelli's front tyres will be 60mm wider,...
