German Grand Prix: Friday press conference
Full transcript from the FIA hosted press conference on day one of the 2016 German Grand Prix, featuring team representatives: Jock Clear (Ferrari), Paul Monaghan (Red Bull Racing), Paddy Lowe (Mercedes), Pat Fry (Manor), Matt Morris (McLaren) and Otmar Szafnauer (Force India). First question to all you gentlemen, it was confirmed yesterday that we will introduce head protection in 2018, not 2017, your thoughts on that please. Pat, why don’t you start?
Pat Fry: Well, I think a lot of research has gone into it over the years. I think we started looking at it in 2013 or something like that, but I think you have got to find the right solution and I think it is just that little bit too early...
