Ericsson to start Hungarian GP from pitlane
Marcus Ericsson will start from the pitlane for the Hungarian Grand Prix, after his Sauber team elected to change chassis after his qualifying crash. The Swede lost control of his car in the wet conditions of Q1, hitting the barriers and bringing out one of the many red flags that blighted the first qualifying segment. Following inspection of the car, Sauber felt it best to introduce a new chassis for Ericsson, which will be scrutineered by the FIA on Sunday morning. As the decision to change chassis was taken after qualifying, the change of chassis means a pitlane start.
