Ricciardo: Looking good but gap to Mercedes genuine

Daniel Ricciardo says Red Bull can be satisfied with a competitive start to the Hungarian Grand Prix even if he admits the half-second margin to Mercedes ahead is 'pretty genuine'. Red Bull came into the weekend being tipped by rivals as a potential challenger for victory around the high downforce Hungaroring, but while Daniel Ricciardo would end Friday practice comfortably ahead of Ferrari, he remained 0.6s behind pace setter Nico Rosberg. Indeed, the Australian was impressed with his feeling in the RB12 but while he feels there is a strong chance of a podium challenge this weekend, he admits Mercedes will be tough to beat.
