Pirelli reveal tyre choices for Hockenheim
Pirelli have revealed the F1 paddock’s tyre choices ahead of the German Grand Prix at the Hockenheimring, with Ferrari, Sauber and McLaren all going aggressive. The trio decided on selecting the maximum of nine sets of supersofts going into the twelfth race of the season, while also choosing the same amount of mediums and softs. Mercedes duo Nico Rosberg and Lewis Hamilton have chosen identical stratagies, with both going for eight supersofts and four mediums. Force India drivers Sergio Perez and Nico Hulkenberg have gone for a different route compared to their rivals, opting for six supersofts, four softs and three mediums.
