Lynn hopes ‘competitive’ test boosts F1 chance

 XPB Images Williams development driver Alex Lynn hopes his latest outing for the team at Silverstone has improved his chance of graduating to Formula One next year. The GP2 Series ace set the third fastest time on the opening day of the final in-season test at the British GP venue, racking up 54 laps in a rain-hit session. With Williams exploring a change at driver line-up, Lynn hopes his positive day at the wheel helps put him in the frame for a seat in 2017. “This is another day completed: no incidents, no problems and I did a good job and compared very competitively with the race drivers in the runs I did,” he said. “From my side, I’ve already said I feel ready...
