Pirelli announces US GP compound choices

Pirelli has announced its tyre compound choices for the United States Grand Prix, the 18th round of the 2016 season. The supersoft, the soft and the medium are once again the Italian manufacturer's choices for the Austin race. It is the ninth time this year it opts for that selection. As usual, the supersoft is the compound selected for Q3, while the soft and the medium are the mandatory tyres for the race, with drivers having to use at least one of them on Sunday.   Tyres nominated so far in 2016:  Australia   Supersoft Soft Medium    Bahrain   Supersoft Soft Medium    China   Supersoft Soft Medium    Russia   Supersoft Soft Medium    Spain     Soft Medium Hard  Monaco...
