Revised Championship Standings after Rosberg’s penalty

Nico Rosberg was handed a ten second time penalty after receiving guidance over the radio to help negotiate a gearbox problem. The judgment, to be appealed by his team Mercedes, German losing three world championship points in the process. Rosberg still stays at the top position of the Drivers’ Championship by just 1 point ahead of defending world champion and his Mercedes team-mate Lewis Hamilton.
