Ricciardo describes 'boring' run to fourth

– Red Bull driver Daniel Ricciardo labelled his run to fourth place at the British Grand Prix as "boring" and "lonely" as he was scuppered by the timing of the Virtual Safety Car.Ricciardo dived into the pits to change from Wet to Intermediate tyres on lap six, hoping to use the undercut against Lewis Hamilton, Nico Rosberg and Max Verstappen, who stayed out.However, Manor's Pascal Wehrlein spun and stopped at Abbey, triggering the use of the Virtual Safety Car, and allowing the lead trio to stop while minimising their time loss.Ricciardo emerged from the pits in fifth spot and eventually overhauled Force India's Sergio Pérez, but was too far adrift to challenge...
