Kimi Raikkonen: “We know our limits on this track”

Kimi Raikkonen felt fifth on the grid was the best he could have hoped for at Silverstone on Saturday after admitting that his Scuderia Ferrari team have been struggling so far this weekend. The Finn admitted he made life difficult for himself on Saturday afternoon, especially in Q2 when he made errors on his first two laps before moving into Q3 with his last effort. Raikkonen feels the team should be more competitive during Sunday’s race, and hopes they can make the right strategy calls on race day and make the Pirelli tyres work to their advantage. “Fifth and sixth is not what we want, we are not happy with where we finished today, but this is the best we could achieve,” said...
