Rio Haryanto: “I'm quite happy with that performance”

Rio Haryanto was able to out-qualify his highly rated, Mercedes-backed team-mate Pascal Wehrlein for a fifth time in ten races in 2016 at Silverstone, and was happy with his own performance during qualifying for the British Grand Prix on Saturday even though it fell slightly short of pre-race ambitions. The Indonesian will start from nineteenth on the grid for Sunday’s race, and although his Manor Racing team had the pace to beat the Sauber F1 Team during qualifying, he felt they were not as close to the Renault Sport F1 team as they had hoped to be before the weekend had begun.
