Massa ‘couldn't put a lap together' during Q2
British Grand Prix – Felipe Massa revealed that struggles with rear tyre temperatures prevented his progression into the third part of qualifying. The Williams driver was eliminated from the second part of qualifying for the British Grand Prix, whilst team-mate Valtteri Bottas was able to secure a top-ten position in the sister car. Speaking after the qualifying hour, Massa admitted that he was unable to control the tyre temperatures, causing oversteer. 'I don't think I could put the lap together, I was struggling with the rear tyres and they were getting too hot.
