Vettel handed five-place grid penalty

– Sebastian Vettel has been handed a five-place grid penalty at the British Grand Prix after Ferrari detected a problem with his gearbox during Saturday's final practice session.Vettel crossed the line to record the fifth best time in the session and immediately informed his squad that he noticed an issue with the gearbox.Ferrari inspected the car and Vettel's suspicions were confirmed, meaning he must take a new gearbox into the qualifying session at Silverstone.It is the third time this season that Vettel has faced the sanction, after similar problems struck at the Russian and Austrian Grands Prix.Sauber's Marcus Ericsson has also been handed a five-place grid penalty for a new...
