Alonso eyes 'clean' Silverstone weekend

– Fernando Alonso is hopeful that McLaren can enjoy a clean weekend at the British Grand Prix in order to deliver on progress, following a tricky few rounds for the Spaniard.Alonso finished sixth in Russia and fifth in Monaco, but classified outside of the points in Canada and endured reliability woes in Baku and Austria, retiring from both races.Alonso, a two-time victor at Silverstone, is optimistic that beneath recent issues McLaren has been making progress, as demonstrated by Jenson Button's sixth place at the Red Bull Ring."From a performance point of view, it's important that we get through the whole weekend cleanly, efficiently and without problems," Alonso...
