Ferrucci gets debut F1 test with Haas at Silverstone

GP3 driver Santino Ferrucci will drive for the Haas team in the post-British Grand Prix test at Silverstone next week. The American, who is a development driver with the team, has been drafted in because the outfit is not allowed to use either of its race regulars. Speaking about the opportunity, Ferrucci said: “Becoming a Formula 1 driver is my ultimate goal and I can’t thank Haas F1 Team enough for this opportunity. "Nothing beats seat time, and the experience of driving a Formula 1 car and working with Haas F1 Team will be invaluable.” Ferrucci is a former British F3 race winner, and is racing for DAMS in GP3 this season.
