Nikita Mazepin to test Force India at Silverstone

Force India have announced that their development driver Nikita Mazepin will drive the VJM09 at the post-British Grand Prix test. The 17-year-old Russian took on Force India’s development role in February, and is currently driving for Hi-Tech Racing in the European Formula 3 Championship. In his short time with Force India, he has already put many hours in on the simulator at the team’s base at Silverstone, but this will be the first time he has handled Formula One machinery in the flesh. “I am extremely grateful for the opportunity to test the VJM09 at Silverstone,” Mazepin said, “There’s no doubt it will be the biggest moment of my career and it’s something I’ve been...
