Lewis Hamilton: “This was just an unfortunate incident”
Lewis Hamilton did not lay any blame for the last lap tangle with Mercedes AMG PETRONAS team-mate Nico Rosberg, feeling it was more like a racing incident than anything else. The team-mates were battling for the race win at the Red Bull Ring when they reached turn two on the final lap side by side, with Rosberg appearing to fail to give Hamilton any room on the outside, the two colliding as a result, and although Rosberg dropped to fourth due to damage, Hamilton continued on and took the victory.
