In photos: Austria and its F1 drivers

– Austria and the Red Bull Ring play host to Formula 1 this weekend, but there is no home racer for the local crowd to support. It has not always been this way, however, with 14 drivers from the Alpine country recording Grand Prix starts in the top echelon. GPUpdate.net takes a look through the photo archives. Austria's first Formula 1 driver was German-born Jochen Rindt. He contested 60 races, triumphed six times and was posthumously awarded the 1970 title after being killed during a practice accident at the Italian Grand Prix.
