Alonso: 'A lot more' required for titles

– Fernando Alonso has admitted that the McLaren-Honda partnership still has "a long way to go" in terms of overall competitiveness before it can think of fighting for world titles.McLaren and Honda endured a dire reunion season last year and, despite solid reliability and performance gains over the winter, remain considerably adrift of the frontrunners.McLaren currently holds seventh in the standings, 66 points behind Williams and the established top four, which also includes Red Bull, Ferrari and long-time pace-setter Mercedes.Asked by Sky Sports if fourth is a realistic prospect in 2016, Alonso said: "That's too optimistic, with some of the circuits that remain,...
