Valtteri Bottas: 'Overall, it was a good day for us'

Valtteri Bottas believes the European Grand Prix on Saturday was a good day for Williams Martini Racing, at least on his side of the garage. The Finnish driver finished sixth at the Baku City Circuit, briefly running as high as third before he pitted on lap 19. Bottas was able to make a one-stop strategy work by managing his tyres well to finish sixth, an improvement of two places from his qualifying position of eighth on Saturday. Bottas believes the pace that the Grove outfit was producing wasn't enough for a higher position, feeling they now have to work hard to make the car quicker to achieve better positions.
