Kimi Raikkonen irate after picking up five second time penalty
European Grand Prix – Ferrari's Kimi Raikkonen has labelled the rule that got him a time penalty as 'a bit stupid' after finishing P4 in Baku. The Ferrari man had brought himself into contention for a podium through use of an early change onto the Soft compound Pirellis, but picked up a time penalty after his pitstop. Following the Red Bull of Daniel Ricciardo and lining up the Australian for an overtake, Raikkonen followed the Red Bull down the main straight to pick up the slipstream. However, Ricciardo was going into the pits, and Raikkonen had to move out to pass the Red Bull, crossing the pit lane entry line in the process.
