Lewis Hamilton: “I was just so in the groove”

Lewis Hamilton took victory in the 2016 Canadian Grand Prix, after managing a one stop strategy superbly, and closing the gap in the drivers’ championship to Mercedes AMG PETRONAS team-mate Nico Rosberg, which now sits at just nine points. After a poor start once again cost the Brit the lead off the line, he soon got back into the swing of things as he chased down the Scuderia Ferrari of Sebastian Vettel.
