Hamilton triumphant in tactical Montreal race

Canadian Grand Prix – Lewis Hamilton reduces Nico Rosberg's championship advantage to nine points by taking victory at the Canadian Grand Prix. Lewis Hamilton took his second victory of the season in Montreal following tactical duel with Ferrari and Sebastian Vettel. Following a good start from Vettel, the Ferrari driver attempted to pull off a two-stop strategy which included a pit stop under the virtual safety car in an attempt to minimise pit losses. However, the one-stopping Mercedes of Lewis Hamilton was able to complete a long stint on the soft tyre to gain track position and control the gap to the Ferrari driver.
