Canadian GP: Vettel leads Verstappen in shortened final practice

Ferrari’s Sebastian Vettel led the way in the final practice session before Canadian Grand Prix qualifying in Montreal, ahead of the Red Bull of Max Verstappen. The session was halted near the end when Kevin Magnussen crashed his Renault heavily at the exit of Turn 7, and was not restarted. Vettel lapped in 1m13.919s, two tenths clear of Verstappen. Nico Rosberg was third fastest for Mercedes, ahead of Ferrari’s Kimi Raikkonen. Lewis Hamilton, who has dominated the weekend so far, was only fifth quickest, ahead of Red Bull’s Daniel Ricciardo.
