Wolff backs Stroll to reach Formula 1
– Mercedes motorsport boss Toto Wolff says he is "sure" that FIA European Formula 3 championship leader Lance Stroll will become Canada's next Formula 1 driver.Stroll, who holds a development role at Williams, has taken three victories and three further podiums from the first four rounds of the F3 season to build a solid advantage.Wolff, speaking at the Canadian Grand Prix, feels that the 17-year-old has all the ingredients to succeed and played down the role of his billionaire father, Lawrence."Lance has the benefit of having gone to classes with the help of his father; the downside is people don't recognise how good he really is," Wolff is quoted by...
