Sainz encouraged with Toro Rosso baseline

Red Bull/Getty Images Carlos Sainz Jr. believes Toro Rosso can achieve another points finish after an encouraging day of practice for the Canadian Grand Prix. Sainz Jr. has scored points in four of this year's six Grands Prix, building on sixth spot in Spain with an eighth place finish in Monaco. Sainz Jr. rounded out the top 10 during the second session at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve, as less than half a second covered fourth to 14th. "It was a day with no issues or major problems, which is always welcome," he said.
