Verstappen under investigation for impeding Bottas
Max Verstappen is being investigated by the FIA stewards in Montreal for an alleged impeding incident during opening practice for the Canadian Grand Prix. The Dutchman was running slowly on the entry to the last corner and appeared to be making a gap for himself to open a lap, without paying enough attention to the approaching Valtteri Bottas, who was ending a quick lap himself. The Williams driver was forced to go straight across the chicane, rather than turning in, and he immediately discussed the incident with his engineer. “Come on, did you see that?” Bottas complained, to which his engineer responded: “Copy that... dangerous.”
